The Iris Contemporary Space project was born from the idea of transforming an existing unit through minimal yet thoughtful interventions, turning it into a dynamic cultural venue. Rather than approaching the project as a traditional gallery — sterile, white, and neutral — the design by Saye Architecture Office sought to create an atmosphere that feels alive, welcoming, and rooted in human interaction.

The concept was centered around redefining how art and culture are experienced — not as static displays but as living, evolving encounters. By integrating natural elements, such as greenery and warm materials, the design blurs the boundary between interior and exterior, inviting visitors to feel at ease and connected to their surroundings. The result is a spatial experience that prioritizes dialogue, exchange, and a sense of community.

This approach transforms the gallery into more than just an exhibition space — it becomes a cultural living room, where people gather, share ideas, and build connections. In its essence, Iris Contemporary Space represents a new model for cultural architecture: one that values atmosphere over formality, emotion over display, and the human experience above all.
