The design of the Kowsar Insurance Headquarters in Tehran—a project comprising eleven floors above ground with a total area of 10,000 square meters, along with three underground levels—was fully designed and developed by Saye Architects Office.
The architectural concept was based on creating transparent and open interior spaces while shaping an iconic and visually solid exterior form. This duality reflects both the accessibility and the stability expected from an institution such as an insurance company.
Elongated and unconventional openings ( windows and traces) proportions were introduced to evoke a sense of grandeur and calm, enhancing the user experience for visitors and clients alike. Through its minimal yet conceptual design approach, the project establishes a clear and contemporary architectural identity for the institution, balancing openness, strength, and refinement.
