The Manouchehri Boutique Hotel project, designed for a historic building in Tehran’s old city center, was conceived as both a revitalization of part of the city’s heritage and the addition of new contemporary elements. The main goal was to preserve the authenticity and historical spirit of the existing structure while introducing new spaces that meet cultural, social, and hospitality needs.
Besides guest rooms, the project includes a café, restaurant, art galleries, art shops, a concept store, and a small event hall, transforming the complex into a lively cultural and social hub. These spaces were created to foster interaction between art, culture, and daily urban life.
Most of the service and cultural areas are located underground, allowing the project to maintain the original form and architectural integrity of the historic building. Meanwhile, the restaurant and café, designed with a distinctive iconic contemporary style, are positioned alongside the old structure, creating a sophisticated and expressive dialogue between tradition and modernity.
