The landscape design of the Vanak project, spanning approximately 2,000 square meters, was developed by Saye Architects as part of the project’s comprehensive architectural vision. Located on a site with a pronounced natural slope, the design faced the challenge of integrating the topography into the overall composition without introducing a dominant retaining wall that would disrupt visual continuity and the sense of openness.
To address this, the design team conceived a terraced system that blends soft landscape elements with a series of water features, creating a fluid transition across levels while maintaining a harmonious visual rhythm. The interplay of stone, vegetation, and water establishes an active yet serene environment that complements the building’s architectural language. The landscape directly connects to the adjacent restaurants, lobby, and lounge areas, extending the building’s public life outdoors and transforming the exterior into a lively, immersive space for gathering and relaxation.
