The Akamshahr Villa, located in northern Iran near the Caspian Sea, sits within an area known for its weekend coastal residences. While drawing inspiration from traditional villa typologies, the design takes on a contemporary interpretation—balancing familiarity with freshness. The villa includes four suite-style bedrooms, along with spacious living and reception areas, designed to offer both comfort and a sense of openness.
Externally, the building is finished in pure white, harmonizing with the surrounding context of the residential complex. However, upon entering, the interior reveals a vivid explosion of color through handcrafted tiles, creating a striking contrast between the calm exterior and the vibrant, expressive interior.
The play of colors continues into the landscape design, where selected hues and materials create a seamless dialogue between interior and exterior. An indoor water feature enhances the visual depth by reflecting the surrounding tones, while the outdoor pool mirrors the villa’s serene white façade—blending architecture, color, and nature into a cohesive sensory experience.
