The Second Marand Villa is a project infused with a poetic sensibility, situated on the outskirts of this mountainous city in northwestern Iran. Designed as a luxurious weekend retreat for a family, the three-story villa combines a refined spatial organization with a serene and intimate interior atmosphere. A restricted and harmonious color palette enhances the calmness of the spaces, emphasizing warmth and comfort within a contemporary framework.
The architectural form draws inspiration from traditional pitched-roof villas, with a central arch that establishes a balanced, elegant composition. The copper-clad façade introduces a distinctive tone that contrasts beautifully with the natural surroundings. At the same time, the carefully positioned openings and windows complete the architectural expression by framing selected views of the landscape.
At the heart of the design, the arched central space extends towards one of the main terraces—an inviting area envisioned as a gathering place for family and friends, where conversations unfold against the backdrop of the villa’s panoramic mountain view.
