The villa complex in the Neukölln district of Berlin was designed by Saye Architecture Office. Drawing inspiration from the traditional villa typologies of Northern Europe—particularly those of Germany—the project respects the region’s architectural regulations while reinterpreting the classic pitched roof forms and minimalist facades in a contemporary way.
A carefully balanced palette of light surfaces and dark wood creates visual harmony across the complex, offering both warmth and contrast. While the design maintains a modern and minimal character, it also pays homage to the colors, proportions, and materials characteristic of traditional German residential architecture, bridging the past and present through a refined and contextual approach.
